Job Description RPT Weight Room Attendant

The City of Port Moody is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to supervise the weight room and surrounding areas.

This position will provide instruction in and monitor for the safe use of equipment in the weight room while ensuring the aerobics, spinning and weight room equipment and areas are clean, safe and ready to use. Duties may include the following:
• Monitor weight room to ensure patrons abide by rules and equipment is used safely
• Provide orientation or direct instruction to patrons
• Maintain cleanliness of weight, aerobic and spinning rooms and ensure equipment is safe and ready to use; report equipment issues as they arise
• Check in patrons and enter information on computer
