Duties For additional information on direct hire opportunities with the Air Force please click here . * Serves as supervisor/rating official for personnel assigned to the office. * Serves as Chief of the Range Safety Division within the Test Wing Safety office, serving as the Test Wing's range safety subject matter expert. * Responsible for: laser operations, directed energy operations, range ground and explosive safety, landing zone/drop zone operations, weapons impact footprints, flight termination debris footprints. * Advises the Test Wing Commander on safe conduct of range operations and highlights program aspects with elevated risk to make leadership aware of the impacts.
