The Team

The Launceston Area Office services the federal electoral divisions of Bass and Lyons. You'll work closely with our other divisions in Burnie and Hobart, forming strong team bonds and regularly sharing information. We have a tight knit team who work hard, are passionate about democracy and look out for each other. You will also be one of a network of service officers across the country, responsible for undertaking a range of complex and challenging administrative functions in the areas of enrolment, electoral roll maintenance and election planning and delivery.

Being part of the team at election time involves contributing to and leading a number of key projects within short timeframes and in a complex, high-pressure environment.

During the election period, you will need to work longer hours, including overtime. Where necessary, you could be required to do overtime on weekends and public holidays during this period.
