Carrig Clinic Family Practice is seeking to employ a GP Practice Assistant to join our growing team. This is a part-time position, up to 3 days per week.

We are a GP practice located in the centre of Greystones, Co Wicklow, within walking distance of the DART and with easy access to the M11.

GP Practice Assistants (GPAs) form part of a multi-disciplinary team within primary care, and provide a support role, carrying out administrative tasks, combined with basic clinical duties, helping to free up GP and Practice Nurse time, and contribute to the smooth running of appointments, improving patient experience.

Duties include but are not limited to:
• Observing, monitoring and recording patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respiration, weight and height.
• ECG recording and 24 hour blood pressure monitor application and download.
• Taking urine samples.
• Phlebotomy.
• Promoting positive mental/physical/nutritional health with patents.
