Our client is a global manufacturer of industrial parts, supplying a number of different industries. We have been assigned to recruit a Financial Accountant for a site in the region of Völkermarkt. This opportunity offers great chances of progression to a Finance Manager role for the Austrian subsidiary. There is flexibility for the candidate to be based working from home 2 days per week and 3 days on site.

Responsibilities:
• Preparing monthly and annual financial statements in GAAP and IFRS
• Lead internal reporting in line with Group requirements, preparing consolidated financial statements.
• Maintain the integrity of the financial position statement.
• Managing the relationship with the audit team and the leading external audit processes. This will include the preparation of consolidated statutory accounts.
• Preparation of VAT returns in Austria and the preparation of annual tax reports
