The position is located within the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo (MONUSCO) in Transport Section, duty station Kinshasa. The incumbent will report to the Regional Transport Officer (RTO) in Kinshasa.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities: Within the limits of delegated authority, the Vehicle Technician will be responsible for the following: • Services, installs, and repairs vehicles under vehicle manufacturer standards and schedules. • Ensures that all relevant safety procedures have been followed when repairing and fitting replacement parts and vehicle inspections on UN-owned vehicles assigned to various units. • Conducts vehicle troubleshooting, repairing, maintenance, and replacing damaged whenever required, ensures downloaded data must not be edited or modified. • Produces reports to document all servicing and repairs, operates recovery truck and recovers breakdown vehicles, and assists in identifying...
