An experienced senior surgical/theatre registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner is required to lead and develop a team of theatre and surgical staff within theatre, surgical ward, Penlee Unit and Medical Day Unit.

Through ownership of their clinical area to be accountable for implementing, driving, and monitoring the Quality and Safety agenda and to monitor standards across clinical areas in leadership exchange/partnership initiatives.

To be a highly competent, knowledgeable and visible practitioner setting the highest standards of care and ensuring the provision of excellent, evidence-based care for all patients / clients.

Ensure the safe, effective and efficient management of all workforce and financial resources.

To act as a role model and skilled practitioner to inspire excellence, constantly demonstrating the highest standards of care and professionalism.
