Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety qualifications or relevant qualifications.

Certificate or Diploma in OHS.

Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience working in Construction / Resources industries.

Preferably had operational experience in Health, Safety or Loss Prevention or related field.

Requirements

Experience with writing procedures and standards – safety systems.

Sound knowledge and understanding to the relevant Regulations, Standards and Codes of Practice.

Strong relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills.

Exhibit strong organization and planning skills.

Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Provide occupational health and safety advice and support across site.

Implementation and adherence to safety systems.

Facilitate accident and incident investigations.

Conduct auditing and governance around safety on major hazards and contractors.
