Accounts Assistant - up to £28,000pa

Birkenhead - Permanent

We have a fantastic opportunity for a reputable industrial services client looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their Finance Team on a full time permanent basis. This role is based in Birkenhead and will be full time on site however there is potential for hybrid working after 6 months within the business.

Salary is dependent on experience but ranging from £25,000pa - £28,000pa.

Responsibilities of the role as a Accounts Assistant:
• Bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts.
• Monitor and reconcile staff expenses.
• Assisting in producing invoices, statements, reconciling accounts and allocating payments.
• Assisting with ensuring timely payment and dealing with any queries.
• Assisting in all aspects of raising PO’s, posting supplier invoices, reconciling accounts to statements.
• Assisting with Payroll & Pensions.
• Assisting with quarterly VAT return preparation and submission.
