Responsibilities:

Managing and facilitating the monthly financial close process for the division(s).Leading in the identification and design of divisional reports to help management in the decision-making process, providing accurate reporting.

Assisting in the interpretation of financial information and providing advice in the decision-making process.

Identification of process improvement opportunities within the divisions.

Leading a team of divisional analysts and/or accounting technicians.

Monitoring and analyzing monthly operating results against budget.

Working closely with management in the annual budgeting process.

Qualifications:

Post-Secondary Education in Business, Commerce, or a related field with a major in Accounting/Finance.
5+ year’s prior experience in a divisional controller environment or public practice.

Designated CPA is required.

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently with little supervision.
