This recruitment is being conducted to fill several part-time vacancies in the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office. This position may require employees to work days, nights, and/or weekends.
Sheriffs Central Services Worker is the trainee-level class for both the Sheriff's Materiel Specialist series and the Sheriff's Inmate Labor Specialist series. Incumbents of this class learn to perform a variety of materiel management and/or inmate work activities that support the Sheriff's Central Services Division.

Pre-Employment Physical, Drug Screen and Background: Potential new hires into this classification are required to successfully pass a pre-employment physical examination, a pre-employment drug screen and a background investigation as a condition of employment.
