Job Description

Purpose of the Job:

To support all the Therapy services within Assessment and Independence to deliver a prompt delivery, fitment, demonstration and assessment of a range of equipment to maintain the person in their own home.

The Officer will need to meet the therapy staff at a property , assist with the instalation of equipment. Support the demonstration and fittment. Undertake follow up visits as required.

To contribute to the recycling and removal of unwanted items back to the community equipment service.

The Officer will need to maintain the stock on the van and ensure appropriate stock control and audit of items.

To provide service cover 8am - 7pm over a 7 day a week on a rota basis.

Specific Accountabilities
• To drive a transit style van delivering aids to daily living eg. Hoisting, toileting and mobility equipment, to people in their own homes.
