(Part-Time)

POSITION SYNOPSIS AND PURPOSE:

Reporting to the Airport Manager, the Airport Grounds Maintenance operates light, medium and heavy equipment while carrying out maintenance activities on Airport infrastructure, buildings and equipment.

The Airport Grounds Maintenance work is to ensure compliance with Transport Canada legislation and regulations and airport policies and procedures while contributing to the safe operation of the airport for pilots, passangers and commercial tenants.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Operations and Grounds Maintenance
• Operates a range of equipment to maintain the Airport infrastructure including runways, ramps, aprons, tie-downs, parking, airfield electrical systems, fencing and landscaped areas.
