The Main Outpatients Department at Harrogate and District Foundation Trust is a friendly and rewarding place to work. We are a highly motivated team with strong team ethics. We are innovative in our practice and are committed to providing high quality standards of care. Our scope of practice is diverse and complex which includes caring for patients of all age groups under various specialities including; ENT, vascular, urology, gynaecology, general surgery and breast.

The outpatients department treats non-emergency patients requiring routine medical care without the need for an overnight stay. Some of the main duties include; providing health education to patients and families, taking patient samples and assisting in minor procedures such as cystoscopies and biopsies.

The Outpatients Department is also home to the Clinical Investigation Area, where patients attend for urology related clinics such as nurse-led trial without catheter, urodynamic studies and the catheter change... More Detail
