Description

-responsible for operating and maintaining mobile ship loader cranes to load silica sand onto vessels efficiently and safely.
-Following safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safe operation of the crane .
-Conducting pre-operation inspections of the crane and performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
-Communicating with vessel captains, dockworkers, and other personnel to coordinate loading activities and ensure the efficient flow of cargo.
-Monitoring loading operations to ensure compliance with weight limits, cargo handling procedures, and safety regulations.
-Keeping accurate records of equipment usage, and maintenance activities.
-Responding promptly to any emergencies or equipment malfunctions during loading operations.
-Assisting with other dockyard and maritime logistics activities as needed.
Qualifications:
-High school, diploma or equivalent.
