Position: Structural Engineer

Location: Tockwith, near York

Salary: £50k - £65k

Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00

About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our client's team. This role involves producing engineering solutions, conducting calculations and analysis, and collaborating with project teams to achieve coordinated engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop engineering solutions with supporting calculations and analysis using Autodesk Robot or manual methods for conceptual and detailed projects.
• Specify member, component, weld sizes, and materials according to required analysis standards. Prepare written specifications.
• Review drawings and calculations by others, ensuring their accuracy and fitness for purpose.
• Coordinate with project team members to achieve defined objectives.
• Represent design at meetings with internal project teams, external clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
