We have an exciting opportunity for a Cook based in Stopsley for one of our clients on a part-time temp to perm basis. Our clients are reputable and well-established within the public sector. This is a standalone role and they are looking for someone to work within their in-house kitchen providing meals for internal staff.

Responsibilities of theCook
• Plan a varied and exciting menu.
• Prepare and cook meals to a high standard.
• Shop for items required for meals.
• Prepare and provide buffets and refreshments for special functions.
• Cleaning of kitchen, utensils and equipment.

Requirements for a successfulCook
• Demonstrable experience working as a cook in a commercial or industrial catering environment.
• A catering qualification and level 2 food safety certification.
• Full clean UK driving licence.
• Ability to work alone with minimal supervision.
• Passion for cooking and providing high-quality meals.
• Good communication skills.
