The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with an initial contract duration of two years. There are good prospects for an extension. Employment location will be Goma, Democratic Republic of the Congo, with frequent travel to project locations in the country.

Welthungerhilfe’s (WHH) country programme in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) is focusing on humanitarian aid as well as on integrated multi-sectorial development activities within the sectors of agriculture incl. value chain development, WASH, nutrition and infrastructure. The programme is funded by the German Government (GFFO, BMZ, GIZ, KfW), EU and USAID. As Head of Programmes, you will lead the development of the country programme under the supervision of the Country Directors and contribute to its implementation and monitoring in order to maximise the impact.
