POST TITLE: Social Care Officer – May 2024

Qualifications First Aid Cert., Food Hygiene, Moving and Handling training,

SVQ ll, all preferred but not essential as training given.

RESPONSIBLE TO; Manager/Deputy Manager Kirriemuir Day Care

POST PURPOSE: You will work as part of a team to support and enable adults, including people with complex needs, to live ordinary lives. You will be required to support individuals with personal care, eating and drinking if required and household duties.

Outline of Duties

1. Contribute to the implementation of care or support plan activities by carrying out specific activities, providing feedback and contributing to reviews. .

2. Provide social care for the individual, including personal care tasks, home support and supporting individuals who are distressed.
