This is a senior technical, administrative and management position accountable for the planning, administration, development, implementation and evaluation of operational programs relating to land use planning, land management, crown land allocation processes, and inspection and enforcement functions within the Western and Labrador Regions of the province. The successful incumbent will participate in the development, modification and monitoring of policies and processes; budget monitoring, interpret legislation and manage the lands programs; represent the branch on various boards and committees; act as a crown witness; and recruitment, training and mentoring of staff to ensure quality public services are provided. Other related duties as required

• Degree in Geography or Resource Management (equivalencies will be considered)
