Job Description:

Your role is to work closely with the Electrical Engineering Manager to ensure the smooth running of the Electrical Design Team and Electrical Assembly Team. Overseeing and maintaining the work schedule and managing resource.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Managing Schedule

o Communicate design dates to project engineers and manufacturing for new workload.

o Plan the design team workload to ensure all designers know what they should be working on and to ensure that deadlines are met.

o Plan the assembly team workload to ensure all technicians know what they should be working on and to ensure deadlines are met.

o Identify issues with capacity and initiate recruitment of permanent and contract design and assembly resource.

o Communicate and discuss delays/changes to schedules with project engineers and manufacturing.

o Provide dates to sales and operations management for upcoming design work to facilitate leadtime planning.
