Responsibilities
• Advising on and ensuring that clients comply with the JSE Listings Requirements, King IV, Companies Act and other relevant legislation.
• Drafting and reviewing SENS announcements and ensuring that they are disseminated in line with the JSE Listings Requirements timelines.
• Reviewing company financials, corporate governance, and annual reports of clients.
• Keeping abreast of developments in relation to the JSE Listings Requirements and corporate governance practices in general.
• Attending general meetings of clients and assisting clients with the drafting and reviewing of notices of general meetings and the like.
• Working closely with executive directors and company secretaries to ensure that clients comply with sound corporate governance principles.
• Reviewing meeting agendas of clients.
