Production Manager FMCG - Food industry

(NIGHT SHIFT)

Individual who has min of 5 yrs progressive FMCG work experience - with a minimum of 2 years in a substantial management role.

Relevant qualifications: Production Management/Industrial Engineering

Proven experience with equipment, process flow and line commissioning and capacity to convert requirements to achievable output. An in-depth knowledge and understanding of Lean manufacturing principles. Food industry experience an advantage.

Responsibilities:

· Provide timely updates to the General Manager covering current or forecast production issues that may impact resources, requiring either an increase or decrease of capacity.

· Plan and direct production activities and establish production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors.
