Well known manufacturer based in Eikenhof, Johannesburg South requires a Costing Clerk to join their team.

Education And Experience

An associate degree / diploma in accounting or costing or at last a college or university accounting course

Costing from the manufacturing industry is a must

Experience working in an environment with a high volume of parts (7000 to 8000 parts)

Knowledge of accounting systems

2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment in a costing role

Strong Microsoft Excel (formulas and V-look Ups) and mathematics skills in order to work on many projects with different deadlines is important

Setting standard costs of manufactured goods

Developing and analysing cost standards

Maintaining master parts list

Maintaining master “mark up rates” list

Establishing costs of business processes such as parts (manufactured and bought), kit packing, timber, container, administration, labour, time, shipping, etc. using Microsoft Excel
