Introduction

Phakisa Holdings is currently seeking a SHE Specialist in the Sasolburg area.

The position is situated within the Safety, Health, Environment, Risk and Quality (SHERQ) Department and reports directly to the Manager SHE: Environment. The incumbent is a key input in the formulation of environmental tactical objective setting within the business.

Duties & Responsibilities

Business Results
• Provide specialist input into obtaining and retaining environmental licenses/authorizations (WUL)
• Provide specialist input, relevant to the specific portfolio, into the SHE Excellence approach.
• Provide specialist input into identifying environmental risk specific to water, waste, land, and biodiversity.
• Provide specialist input into environmental assessments, coordinate specialist studies and investigations.
• Report and advise on portfolio specific risks.
• Provide portfolio specific services as expected by other Departments
