The main role of the Principal Planner is to deliver of high-quality, successful developments that make Clackmannanshire a sustainable, liveable and productive place, through :

The preparation of the Clackmannanshire Local Development Plan
Implementing National Planning Framework4, the Council's Local Outcome
Improvement Plan (LOIP) and Local Development Plan through the delivery of the Council's planning functions and place-based work.
Effective decision making on planning applications.
Being a champion for Place within the Council and in dealing with our communities and partners.
