An outstanding job opportunity has arisen for a committed Therapy Assistant in Hitchin

Permanent full time position 37.5 hours per week

Pay rate £11.49 - £12.02 per hour

Specialism

Acquired brain injury and a range of other neurological conditions such as Huntington’s disease, Parkinson’s, and multiple sclerosis.

Purpose

To support the Therapy staff to provide high-quality holistic person-centred care and support to service users to reach their full rehabilitation potential.

Experience, Skills And Ability
• Understanding of health/social care sector work
• Experience of working with people in a care setting
• Experience with acquired brain injuries and physical disabilities is desirable but not essential
• Skilled in interacting with all types of people
• Proven experience of working within a team
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Able to work within policies and procedures
• An ability to work under supervision but also autonomously when appropriate
