DISTRICT ITINERANT STRINGS TEACHER1.0 FTE ContinuingThis is a full-time Continuing position effective September 1, 2024. The successful applicant for this position will be responsible for a Strings Program for intermediate-aged elementary students across the district.The position is based from Kamloops School of the Arts, but will provide itinerant services to schools across the district. Travel is required and mileage will be compensated through District rates for travel to any schools beyond Kamloops proper.This is a position of Special Responsibility and will be filled by competition.Responsibilities:Schedule may include teaching until 5:00 pmPlan, organize and implement music sharing eventsConsult and plan with administrators to co-create the Itinerant scheduleBasic repair and maintenance of stringed instrumentsPurchase ensemble music, methodology books, and other incidental music suppliesProvide curricular music assessments for all students at regular reporting periodsCoordinate...
