• *Responsibilities**:_
- Assist in organizing, reviewing, updating and controlling of Halal Assurance System (HAS) documentation.
- Liaise with JAKIM/JHEAINS regarding Halal matters.
- Ensure Halal file keep updated from time to time.
- Be involved in internal halal audits in Kitchen.
- Arrange internal Halal Committee meeting and update any Halal news.
- Maintain halal ingredients master list by ensuring proper documentation of valid halal certificates and product specifications/process flow diagram.
- Weekly checking raw material Halal validity list and liaise with purchasing/supplier for the latest Halal cert.
- Verify Halal certificate for sample and new incoming raw materials.
- Ensure everything in kitchen follow as per Halal requirement and only allow approved Halal raw material and sample to be used in the premise (on-site checking minimum once a month and establish report).
- Cover receiving of raw material, packaging material and/ or chemical material when necessary.
