· To prepare various plans such as PT/IQC/ method validation/ Training plan/PM Plan/Intermediate check plan etc.

· To identify the training needs of the employees and prepare training plan accordingly

· To review the lab facility for new tests required by the customers

· To verify and review test records

· To ensure optimum use of available resources

· To ensure that proper accommodation and environment is maintained in the testing area as per the requirements of the relevant test standards.

· To review the website of external origin documents to ensure latest updated methods are in use.

· To guide staff to calculate the uncertainty of measurement for each test parameter.

· To design the scope of accreditation considering the facility available in lab

· To seek opportunities for improvements w.r.t scope of accreditation as well as laboratory activities
