The Design Assurance Engineering Intern role is intended to provide a wide range of experiences and to encourage both industrial and personal development. It involves working on a selection of Military & Aerospace projects that contribute directly to the success of the business and its customers. This is a 12 month internship, and applicants should be studying towards a relevant sandwich degree that recognises a 12 month industrial placement.

Role Description

Design Assurance Engineers are primarily responsible for testing products to provide the company and customers with a high level of confidence that designs are compliant, reliable, and successful in deployment.

You will be involved in ensuring products undergo required testing. This typically involves products undergoing EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) and harsh environmental condition tests such as vibration, temperature, altitude, humidity etc. Most of these tests are performed at our in-house facilities.
