Esparto Unified School District seeks an inspiring music education specialist who is responsible for teaching music courses to students in grades 6th - 12th grades. Esparto Unified is expanding musical opportunities for all grades. Duties Include:.Assists the staff of the school in the improvement and appreciation of music instruction Helps students grow in their enjoyment, appreciation, and performance of music through a variety of planned music experiences which include singing, moving to music, playing of instruments and listening and performs other duties directly related to this job Teaches general music to 6-12 grade including harmony, appreciation, history, and ensemble Utilizes repertoire of all types of music literature, including traditional and contemporary that are appropriate for the ages and skill levels of students Providing performance opportunities for ensembles in and out of school Teaching music courses in Band and Guitar using traditional...
