North Yorkshire Police are now welcoming applications for the role of Lead Taser Trainer at the rank of Constable. The successful applicant will be based at Tadcaster Police Station, working within theTaserTraining and Development Unit, whichoperatesunder the Specialist Operations Directorate.

Applicants should have a genuine desire to create and deliver quality training based on Taser that is inclusive and supportive of the needs ofeach and everyindividual student.
Although being an existing OST, Public Order or Firearms Instructor would be positive, full training will be given to the successful applicant.
The successful Applicant will be able to help shape the future of Taser Training in North Yorkshire and share the vision of creating a truly inclusive and supportive training environment.

They are not subject to formal action plans for sickness/complaints/discipline orpoor performance.
