The Nantucket Conservation Foundation (Nantucket Island, MA) seeks an Ecological Stewardship Technician to oversee and provide year-round logistical support for applied projects undertaken on NCF-owned properties and associated waterbodies aimed at inventorying, monitoring, and managing species, habitats, and other natural resources of conservation concern. Overseen by staff of the Department of Ecological Research, Stewardship and Restoration, they are responsible for the implementing, documenting, and reporting of ongoing and new projects related to responsible land stewardship and habitat restoration. They oversee and provide logistical support for hired consultants engaged to work on such projects and ensure that all associated environmental permitting and reporting is obtained and completed as required.
