• To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children placed in the nursery.
• To work as part of a team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, develop and learn.
• To build and maintain strong partnership working with parents/carers to enable children’s needs to be met. Main Duties.
• To effectively deliver the EYFS ensuring that the individual needs and interest of children are met and maintain equality of opportunity for all children in the nursery (in conjunction with other team members).
• Support all staff, students and volunteers and engage in a good staff team to ensure that there is a positive, happy and productive atmosphere at all times.
• To attend staff meetings and participate with the planning of activities of the nursery set curriculum based on the EYFS.
