We're seeking a talented and experienced Firmware Design Engineer to join our clients growing team. You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing firmware for embedded microcontroller systems used in a variety of exciting projects.

Reporting to the senior management team your role will be varied, but shall include such tasks as;
• Design, develop, and implement robust firmware for embedded microcontroller systems (e.g., PIC microcontrollers)
• Interface with analog designs to retrieve, control, package, and store data efficiently
• Develop robust communication protocols for data upload utilizing various protocols (TCP/IP, SPI, I2C, Modbus)
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a small project team
• Perform thorough unit testing and debugging to ensure flawless firmware operation
• Document designed firmware clearly and concisely for future reference
