TheraMe! is seeking a bioinformatics intern to analyze single-cell RNA sequencing datasets. Our primary objective is the development of a microfluidic platform for screening drugs tailored for personalized cancer therapy.

The successful candidate will closely collaborate with biologists and engineers in the lab, along with external bioinformaticians, as well as bioinformatics professors at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) in Heidelberg and Heidelberg University.

Main duties and responsibilities include:
• Analysis of single-cell RNA-Seq datasets
• Analysis of barcoded DNA sequences
• Prediction of drug response from RNA-Seq data
• Organization of sequencing databases
• Writing reports on analyzed data
• Assistance in developing new prediction models

Your profile:
• BSc/MSc degree in Data Science or Bioinformatics
• Knowledge of transcriptomic analysis (RNA-Seq, scRNA-Seq) or other next-generation sequencing (NGS) applications
