Shramabhimani Kendraya (Dignity Of Labour) is a people-centered NGO that aims to empower poor communities and reduce poverty through a rights-based approach. We primarily work in garment factories and other workplaces in Sri Lanka, and we are gradually expanding our activities to other parts of the country. Our focus areas include human rights, land rights and agrarian reform, sustainable water management, environment, occupational health, sustainable agriculture, and food security.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant at Shramabhimani Kendraya. The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial tasks, including managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, preparing financial reports, and ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions. The Accountant will also assist in budgeting and forecasting, as well as financial analysis and planning.
