Introduction

Morris Material Handling seeks to employ a Junior Draughtsperson to join its team at the Head Office.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Familiarise him/herself with the Company equipment so as to effectively utilise all elements in designs.
• Create and maintain detailed technical drawings as required and to the appropriate standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and senior draughtsman to ensure an accurate representation of design specifications.
• Revise and update drawings as necessary to reflect project changes or improvements.
• Create Bill of Materials.
• Generate Requisitions using the Morris App (training provided) program.
• Provide technical assistance to the workshop on drawings where required.

Desired Experience & Qualification
• Diploma in Draughting.
• Proficient in CAD. Previous experience in AutoCAD and Inventor will be advantageous.
• Competent knowledge in both the production and manufacturing methodologies.
