Main responsibilities:

The Finance Officer is primarily responsible for handling all financial and operational functions of Shanthi Maargam.

The Key Performance Areas are:

1. Finance and Operations:

• Lead the financial management of the Shanthi Maargam, including the application of accounting principles as well as the development of financial plans and reports to support project management.

• Oversee and support the development of operating, project, and grant budgets, manage within those budgets, and internal and external reporting.

• Preparing monthly cash flow, financial statements, and the Shanthi Maargam budget deficiency report for the board of directors.

• Coordinate with the outsource vendor for Staff Payroll and statutory payments.

• Oversee administrative functions as well as facilities to ensure efficient and consistent operations as the organization scales.
