Job Description:

A new position has been created within the technical department of FTB to assist in the production of workshop drawings for pre-cast elements for HS2. The role reports to the Technical Manager, the selected candidate is expected to bring design and detailing experience in reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete. He/She will be responsible for solving design queries for FTB’s detailing subcontractor and implementing standard solutions to accelerate the creation of workshop drawings while ensuring quality.

It is also required that this person will manage the revision process for drawings (Tekla), perform structural assessments if required (Global/Local), and supervise document controlling activities (ProjectWise).
