We’re hiring for a Stores Operative to join an engineering manufacturer based in Oldham. Established for more than 30 years with a turnover of £4m, this is a company specialising in the design, manufacturing, and provision of bespoke equipment to the construction and manufacturing sectors. What’s on offer? * £11.80 per hour * Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm * Early finish on Fridays * 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) * Overtime available (paid at enhanced rate) * Christmas shutdown period What will you be doing as a Stores Operative? * Regularly inspecting inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and identifying any discrepancies that need to be addressed * Receiving, inspecting and accurately recording incoming shipments, ensuring they align with purchase orders and are in good condition * Selecting products from inventory based on orders and carefully packaging them and preparing them for shipment * Entering data related to stock movements, transactions and other relevant...
