Field Engineer

We are currently looking to employ additional field engineers for North Yorkshire,Durham,Teesside,Sunderland and surrounding areas.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

· Home based, field service engineer - servicing, maintenance of heavy plant machinery.

· Working on a range of construction plant.

· Mechanical, electrical and hydraulic diagnostics and fault-finding.

. Use of air conditioning equipment

. Able to read electrical and hydraulic schematics

. Use of laptop-based diagnostics.

· Delivering accurate, well-constructed fault-finding reports.

· Apprenticeship in construction plant maintenance and repair or relevant experience in heavy construction equipment. City and Guilds or equivalent in plant maintenance / mechanical engineering / heavy vehicle maintenance and repair etc

· Beneficial to have experience working on Caterpillar,Volvo and Liebherr product lines.

· Strong mechanical knowledge with electrical experience.
