Plans and schedules production operation based on volume forecast and actual requirements.
• Prepares and carries out the daily/weekly production schedule based on production volume forecast and actual orders received from stores.
• Determines and prepares requisitions for production and operating materials based on this production schedule.
• Prepares work schedules and job assignments pf personnel in his area according to the production scheme planned.
• Sees to it that all production equipment in his area have been checked and certified fit for use by Engineering to support the scheduled volume of production.
• Sees to it that back-up lines are also in place in case of contingencies.

Directs and controls the activities in his area to assure the smooth flow of production operations
