Overview

The Plant Superintendent is responsible to ensure the smooth running of the production facility by the effective planning and usage of resources as well as overseeing the overall safety of the plant. This position is responsible to co-ordinate and oversee all aspects related to production processes, resources per shift, and safe operation of the employees on shift. All activities, roles and responsibilities are aligned to the world class (manufacturing) philosophy, principles and practices.

Qualifications

Matric (Maths and Science)

B. Tech (Chemical engineering) or B.Sc Engineering (Chemical)

Lean six Sigma – Black Belt will be an advantage

Experience

5 - 10 years’ experience in similar role in a Manufacturing environment

Duties
• Investigate all inidents (safety & environment)
• Perform process safety audits
• Tracking and liasing with stakeholders on mitigating actions from investigations
• Closing external and internal findings
