Role Purpose
• Transfer new job/project creations from the bidding software Bid2Win (B2W) into JD Edwards (JDE).
• Analyze financial data related to construction projects including cost estimates, budgets, and actual costs incurred.
• Maintain internal material blanket orders for all jobs, which includes creating blanket orders upon job creation, adding materials, price adjustments, material description changes, etc.
• Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and processes for accurate project reporting.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to the team as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments including procurement, accounting, and project management to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Monitor and report on project progress and provide analysis on variances from the budget.
• Manage the preparation of project closeout reports including final cost accounting analysis.
