The Opportunity

Hudbay Minerals Inc. is seeking an Environmental Scientist / Engineer within our Environment department located in Snow Lake, MB. The successful applicant will be on a Monday-Friday schedule, with occasional scheduled weekend coverage. It will be based in the vibrant community of Snow Lake, MB, with relocation packages available.

The position includes a competitive compensation package which includes benefits, pension, profit sharing, employee share purchase plan among others.

Accountabilities
• Responsible for environmental monitoring, operation of water treatment facilities, government compliance sampling (i.e. water, air, and soil quality), and calibration/maintenance of environmental equipment
