Job Purpose

To optimise demand requirements for Barloworld Ingrain in terms of quantity and timing of product availability by accurately defining the customer demand for products across all business sectors based on their historical sales, seasonality and trends; and to facilitate and support the Sales & Marketing Team in delivering best in class demand forecasts for Ingrain.

Key Deliverables

Strategic / Financial
• Provide input in the development of the Supply Chain strategy in line with the business' strategic objectives

Operational
• Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
• Manage and update the Ingrain customer forecast monthly to reflect actual sales demand by customer and product (Customer Stock Item Code).
• In collaboration with internal stakeholders, develop, implement and maintain effective systems, processes, tools and techniques, for accurate inventory and supply chain decisions.
