Overview:

We are seeking a Market Account Manager to spearhead our efforts in creating access to markets for the Kenyan handmade sector within Kenya. This role will be pivotal in ensuring end-to-end retail account management from product selection, maker management, pitching retailers and buyers to product development, product delivery, restocking, in-store setup, merchandising, marketing and storytelling. Ensuring clear communication and seamless implementation of strategies on behalf of Powered by People.

Responsibilities:

Commercial Sales & Market Support:
• Analyze retail trends, identify gaps, and capitalize on opportunities.
• Drive merchandising concept development, visual merchandising, in-store setup, and pitch to buyers.
• Develop compelling storytelling content for the Learning Universe to foster community building, explore retail opportunities, and forge partnerships.
