As we continue to grow, our company is accepting applications for Utility Locator positions. The successful individual(s) will have multiple years of experience in line locating, responsible for safely and accurately locating/staking of underground utilities. Most work will be based in Ontario.

We are currently hiring for dedicated locators in the Newmarket, Aurora, and Richmond Hill areas.

Responsibilities
• Read and interpret utility maps, site plans and as-built drawings, able to identify type and size of any potential barrier in the construction zone.
• Locate underground utilities including telecommunications, power, cable TV, gas, water and sewer systems etc. and mark their location on the ground in accordance with utility owner standards.
• Complete tickets in Utilocate (U2)
• Continually update various safety and training certifications
• Adhere to Lawson’s safety program.
• Act with honesty and integrity to represent Lawson in a professional and positive manner.
